Every Mother’s Day we all usually purchase Mother’s Day cards to send or personally give to our moms. There are many ways to tell a mother how much we love and cherish her. However, what to write in a card can be a little tricky and sometimes it is difficult to express the truly warm feelings that we have for our mothers in writing. This is just a mother’s day story!

Dear Mom,

Let me tell you a story about Mother’s Day. The story of Big Malum!

Big Malum did not like broccoli and has not liked it since he was a little kid but his mother made him eat it. Big Malum did not like to clean and tidy up his bedroom either but his mother made him do it each day before going to bed.

Despite things he did not like, Big Malum knew how lucky he was to have his mother in his life but found a little tricky to express the truly warm feelings that he had for his mother. As he was growing up Big Malum knew that his mother held his hands for a short while, but his heart forever. He remembered that he showed her affection on several occasions and even told her that he loved her.

However, there was this feeling that something was unaccomplished until that specific day. It was on Mother’s Day when he sent the following greeting card to his mother and wrote the following:

“If there was a day for everything you have given me as a mother, it would be Mother’s Day every day. Thank you for being you my mom”. That’s the story of Big Malum!

These words are to say just how much I appreciate all the time and love you gave me! Happy Mother’s Day!
