Happy Easter!

New York’s Easter Parade

“For Christmas, food and drinks; for Easter, new clothes”

New York’s Easter Parade begins at Fifth Avenue and 47th Street near St. Patrick’s Cathedral and continues up Fifth Avenue to 57th Street. But people must be aware that the street is closed to traffic for parade participants and people watchers from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

The parade’s religious aspects had faded over the years and it is now a vast spectacle of fashion along Fifth Avenue and Easter Bonnet festival represents the tradition of wearing new clothes.
May be New Yorkers can hear Poor Robin whispers, “If on Easter Sunday some part of one’s outfit is not new, one will not enjoy good luck during the year”!

It is important to mention that the most original and smartest Bonnet will be in Big Malum’s head.
Therefore to those who wish to invite their loved ones to the parade, or to wish someone Happy Easter, or just to be funny on that occasion, there is the Big Apple Cartoon with a beautiful chocolate egg.
